Earlier this month, we established the Product Development Team and the International Business Team. Previously, new product development and export inquiries were handled concurrently by existing departments, but we determined that dedicated personnel for both tasks would accelerate progress.

The Product Development Team is responsible for planning and test-producing cooked products made from oysters, such as cream oyster gratin, as well as fermented seafood and sauces. Since the gratin, we have received many inquiries asking, “When will the next product be released?” Now, we have a team in place to provide those answers.

Based on the FSSC 22000 certification obtained in January 2022, the International Business Team is tasked with finding export partners and ensuring compliance with country-specific documentation and standards. Frozen oysters and half-shell oysters are in demand overseas, so we aim to expand our sales channels beyond the domestic market. The initial results from both teams will be introduced in this magazine as soon as they are ready.
